Pandan Cashew Milk Latte
Try this pandan cashew milk latte for a relaxing alternative to coffee in the morning or afternoon.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cashew milk or other plant-based milk
- 1 teaspoon Pandan leaf powder
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tsp organic rose petals optional, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat cashew milk until it starts to steam.8 oz cashew milk
- Using a small mesh strainer, sift the Pandan powder and cinnamon into the plant milk. Whisk and add maple syrup and vanilla extract until gently heated through.1 teaspoon Pandan leaf powder, ½ teaspoon cinnamon, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Take off heat, and aerate with milk frother for 30 seconds if desired. Pour into cup. Garnish with rose petals if desired.1 teaspoon organic rose petals
Notes
Using an electric frother helps with frothing. Be sure to mix the Pandan powder well as soon as it is added. Sifting the powder and the cinnamon through a mesh strainer helps prevent clumping.
