Vegan Cheesy  Kale Chips

Try a batch of homemade kale chips for a nutritious snack!  This leafy green packs in fiber, antioxidants, and plenty of vitamins.

Ingredients you need to make "cheesy" kale chips

– Two baking sheets – Parchment paper – Large bowl – High-speed blender – Spatula

Here's the equipment you will need:

Place the cashews in a blender, the rest of the ingredients (except the kale) and half of the sea salt.

Step 1

Blend to combine. Add water to achieve a creamy consistency. The dressing  should be slightly thick yet pourable. 

Step 2

Place the kale pieces into a large bowl and pour the nutritional yeast mixture over the kale.

 Step 3

Coat the leaves evenly with the nutritional yeast mixture, using your hands, lightly massaging the kale.

Step 4

Place the kale onto the prepared sheet pans, making sure not to overlap  the kale leaves. Sprinkle the kale with the remaining sea salt.

Step 5

Bake for 25 minutes; turn the kale leaves over to ensure  they bake evenly for another 25 minutes, just until crispy.
