Sparkling Cranberry Mocktail

Serve this fun non-alcoholic mocktail over the holidays, on New Year's Eve, at Thanksgiving, or at a Christmas brunch!

Cranberry juice Sparkling water Sugared cranberries Organic cane sugar to rim the glass

Ingredients

–Small saucepan – Slotted spoon – Baking sheet – Cookie rack – Medium bowl – Cocktail glasses – Cocktail picks

Equipment

Bring sugar and water to boil in a small  saucepan.  Heat and stir until sugar dissolves, and the liquid  is clear.

Make the sugared cranberries

Take the saucepan off the heat and stir in the fresh cranberries.  Coat them in the simple syrup.

Remove the cranberries and place them on a rack to dry for a couple of hours.  Roll the cranberries gently to coat them with sugar and place them on the cookie rack to dry for another hour.

Rim the edge of the glasses with water and organic cane sugar. Pour chilled cranberry juice into each glass. Top each glass with raspberry cranberry sparkling water.

Make the sparkling cranberry mocktail

Garnish each glass with sugared cranberries on a cocktail pick. You can serve the drink in a highball glass with crushed ice if you prefer. Enjoy!
